According to WTOK, an elderly couple was brutally murdered in a home invasion in Meridian.
Meridian Police Department and First Responders responded to a home invasion on Thursday.
They lived near the intersection of 36th Avenue and North Hills Street.
MPD Detective Chanetta Stevens told WTOK that two people were found deceased in the house. They were identified by Coroner Stella McMahan as 97-year-old Miles Herrington and 94-year-old Ina Herrington.
There are no details on if an arrest was made yet.
