Covington County resident GW “Hulk” Jones probably thought his cows and their calves were gone forever after he woke up in April and realized his herd was gone.

The Covington County Sheriff’s Department reports that the theft took place on April 20, and through investigations, their suspected location was nailed down in early May. The cows were returned to Jones on May 12.

Over the weekend, Metro Crime Stoppers announced that the case is still being investigated. They asked that anyone with information on Mr. Jones’ cows or any other agricultural theft give them a call at 601-582-STOP (7867).
