The last of four escaped inmates who have put the community at ill-ease for over a week has been caught.

Around 6:30 this morning, Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones announced via social media:

“Captured: Escapee-Corey Harrison was taken into custody this morning by HCSO and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force at a residence in Crystal Springs. A female acquaintance was also arrested and is facing charges stemming from this investigation.”

Less than 30 minutes later he shared:

“Jodie Marie Tebo-38, of Crystal Springs was arrested this morning in connection with the escape and investigation of escapee, Corey Harrison. She faces charges of aiding and abetting in Hinds County. The investigation is ongoing.”

At 7:38 a.m., Sheriff Jones tweeted thanks the the US Marshals and noted that “all escapees are accounted for”:

As reported earlier this week, two of the other escaped inmates have died and one was arrested in Texas.
