The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for at least 15 burglaries at Dollar General stores across multiple counties since August.
Investigators say the suspect uses a unique method to gain entry, unscrewing the metal siding on the building’s exterior and cutting a hole to access the store from the back. The string of break-ins has resulted in the theft of several thousand dollars in merchandise and cash.
Authorities have released an image of the suspect and encourage anyone who recognizes him or has information on the case to contact Crime Stoppers.
Tips can be submitted anonymously through the P3 Tips app or by calling **Tips. Cash rewards are available for information that leads to an arrest.
