A 50-year-old man was arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft.
Adrian Z. Bell, a resident of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department on charges of Grand Larceny; Taking of a Motor Vehicle.
The arrest follows the issuance of a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant related to a 2023 incident.
Reports suggest that Bell borrowed a vehicle from a victim, promising its return the same day. However, the vehicle remained in his possession for twenty-three days beyond the agreed timeframe, prompting law enforcement intervention. Bell’s bond was set at $10,000 by the Lee County Circuit Court.
