A teenage boy in Natchez is dead after a Thursday evening shooting.
Natchez Police say they received a “shots fired” call around 7 p.m. Thursday at 103 Jackson St. near Martin Luther King Jr. St. When they got there, they found a teenage boy shot to death, Capt. Scott Frye told the Natchez Democrat. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
A person of interest was taken to the department for questioning, and police found several shell casings at the scene.
