Tupelo Police are investigating an early Sunday shooting.
According to a release from TPD, officers were called to an apartment in the 1300 block of Mitchell Road around 4:30 a.m. for a shooting. An adult male victim was located with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local emergency room in critical condition.
Police say the investigation is in very early stages, and more information will be released when appropriate.
