Two teens were arrested in Copiah County Thursday night after what police say was gang activity.
According to authorities, Jarius Cooper, 18, and a juvenile were arrested as part of an ongoing operation dealing with gangs in Copiah County.
Investigator Juan Cloy is leading the probe into local gangs in the area. He said the two teens face several misdemeanor charges. Cooper has been arrested in the past for allegedly having a role in a drive-by shooting, and he was out on bond for another charge.
Deputies confiscated a gun.
