According to Chief Wade, photos of the suspect were captured on surveillance video.

He appears to be an older white male with a bald head.

UPDATE: According to reports, the child and the vehicle have been recovered safely.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Jackson police say a car was stolen with a seven month old child on board. The vehicle, which appears from the photo to be a white hatchback, was last seen traveling on I-55 South from Beasley Road.

So far no further description or tag number has been released on the stolen vehicle. We will keep you updated as we find out more.
