Three people died in a north Mississippi wreck over the holidays.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a driver was going the wrong way on Mississippi 6/ U.S. 278 Thursday night.
Troopers says 52-year-old Jacquette Davis of West Point was driving west in the eastbound lanes east of Oxford near the Pontotoc County line.
Investigators say Davis’ car collided with one driven by 23-year-old Halie Tanner of Thaxton.
Both the drivers were pronounced dead on the scene. Komoto Davis, 48, of West Point, was also killed. He was a passenger in Davis’ car.
