Tupelo police are looking for a woman who allegedly took a car for a test drive and just didn’t come back.

On Thursday, Tupelo Police Department posted on their Facebook that around 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 10, 33-year-old Amanda Turner of Nettleton test drove a 2019 Dodge Challenger unaccompanied. She had left in it around 3:15 p.m.

Around 2 p.m. the next day, the vehicle was located abandoned behind the Town House Motel on South Gloster.

On Wednesday, Turner was interviewed and arrested for grand larceny – theft of a motor vehicle. A Tupelo Municipal Court Judge set bond at $5,000.
