Tuesday Weather: foggy early, stormy later

Patchy dense fog, reducing visibility to a quarter mile at times, is possible this morning mainly for areas east of I-55.

According to the NWS, isolated severe storms are be possible this afternoon through early evening. Penny to quarter size hail will be the primary threat, with brief damaging wind gusts possible.

High temps today will be in the low 80s.

Showers and a few storms will continue in the east this evening. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s. Patchy dense fog is possible late tonight for areas in the east.
