Authorities in Lawrence County are asking for the public’s help locating a murder suspect from Brookhaven.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Keontra Dunn, 22, who has been charged with murder, three counts of attempted murder and shooting into a motor vehicle after an altercation that left a 20 year old Lawrence County man dead.

Dunn was allegedly cited in Copiah County today, police said.

Authorities say they kept the search for Dunn quiet in order to keep him from hiding out. However, after some of today’s events, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department says Dunn knows that he is being actively sought.

Dunn is approximately 6’2” and around 290 lbs. He is considered armed and dangerous.
