Police: Missing Ole Miss student’s car found

Jimmie Lee, AKA Jay Lee, has been missing since early Friday morning.

Police have located a vehicle driven by an Ole Miss student who has been missing since early Friday.

Campus Police say Jimmie Lee, also known as Jay Lee, was last seen Friday leaving the Campus Walk Apartments.

Lee’s vehicle was located today at a local towing company after it was removed from the Molly Barr Trails apartment complex on Friday afternoon.

Lee is a 20-year-old black male, with black and blonde hair and brown eyes. Lee was last seen driving a 2014 black Ford Fusion with Mississippi licence tag #JAYLEE1 and has not been heard from since 5:58 Friday morning. The car has a gold racing stripe down the hood and front bumper.

Lee was last seen wearing a silver robe or housecoat, a gold sleeping cap and gray slippers. Police say he may have been visiting someone at Molly Barr trails.

He is a Murrah High School graduate from Jackson.

There is a $1,000 CrimeStoppers reward for anyone with information on Lee’s whereabouts. Oxford and Ole Miss police are working the case jointly.
