Deputies in Hancock County are looking for a man on several felony charges, and they say he’s armed and dangerous.

Nicholas Shiyou, AKA “Josh Shiyou,” is wanted for aggravated assault, domestic violence, and kidnapping, and investigators tell WLOX that Shiyou’s ex-girlfriend says he held her hostage for three days in May.

Officials say Shiyou held the woman captive and took her car keys so she couldn’t drive away. She finally was able to get to the Sheriff’s Department for help.

The hunt for Shiyou is on. Authorities are now asking the public for help.

Police say Shiyou has a history of domestic violence complaints by several woman, and three arrests since 2020. He’s also wanted on federal probation violation.

Shiyou can be seen driving all different vehicles as he borrows them from friends.
