
A Tupelo man was arrested on felony drug charges Wednesday, according to Tupelo Police Department.
Police say North MS Narcotics Unit and the Tupelo Police Department served a search warrant at 679 Albany Street. During a search of the residence, agents discovered several ounces of cocaine, as well as a felony amount of marijuana and ecstasy. A gun was also seized.
Suspect Johnny Nash, 42, was charged with trafficking of a Schedule II controlled substance, cocaine and felony possession of marijuana.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Nash’s bond at $85,000. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
NMNU Agents are coordinating with the ATF about possible federal charges for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
