Two men have been arrested in a shooting in Port Gibson that took place last week.
According to the Claiborne Couty Sheriff’s Department, last Thursday around 3 p.m., deputies responded to reports of shots fired at the Fairgrounds at 1120 Hwy 61 North.
The 911 caller stated that apparently one subject had been shot and was transported to the Claiborne County Hospital by personal vehicle.
Within hours, Sheriff Edward Goods along with his deputies were able to locate and arrest Jamarcus Hamlin and Tyrese Craft and charged them with aggravated assault.
Authorities say this case is still under investigation and additional arrest are pending.
