Benton County officials are looking for an inmate who escaped a work detail Monday.

A release from the Benton County Sheriff’s Department says around 12:45 p.m., George Hunsucker escaped custody. Around 4 p.m. he was seen with a woman in a small white car in Hickory Flat.

Hunsucker is a white male. He is 5’11” tall and 150 lbs.

Hunsucker was convicted of first degree arson in January of this year, and was serving a three-year sentence.
