A man found dead in a car crash is the same one that had been reported missing Sunday, according to Jackson Police Department’s social media posts.

Detrick Robinson, 46, was killed on I-55 South in Rankin County when his 2003 Toyota Sequoia left the roadway and overturned, according to Mississippi Highway Patrol. Robinson was ejected.

On Jackson Police Department’s Facebook page was a post looking for a missing man named Detrick Robinson who was driving a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. A post by Robinson’s family said he had just left the Last Call Sports Bar at 2 a.m. Saturday.

Mississippi Highway Patrol says Robinson, of Jackson, was driving that 2003 Toyota Sequoia when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

MHP Spokesman MSGT Kervin Stewart said that it is the same person. He said it’s unclear when exactly the wreck happened.

According to MHP, Robinson was dead on the scene.
