A Webster County man is behind bars after police say they caught him with methamphetamine in his vehicle.
A release from the Webster County Sheriff’s Department says that on Sunday around 5:30 p.m., a Eupora police officer stopped a vehicle driven by Kenneth Scott Cooper. A K-9 was brought in to search the car and found the meth, which is a controlled substance.
Cooper was arrested by the sheriff’s office and booked into the Webster County Jail. Cooper is currently being held awaiting a bond hearing with a Justice Court judge. This case is ongoing.
