One man has been arrested and police are looking for the others in the theft of a generator.

The call came in April 2 that a Generac Generator was stolen in the 3000 block of Pattison-Tillman Road, according to the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department.

Two days later, Sheriff Edward Goods was able to locate the generator, and identify the subjects responsible.

Freddie McDaniel is charged with grand larceny. Fredrick Hedrick has been charged with receiving stolen property.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Vernard Townsend for Grand Larceny.

This investigation is ongoing and more arrests may be possible, police say.
