Officials determine 6 tornadoes so far in March 30 event, 3 injuries

Storm survey teams have found evidence of 6 tornadoes so far from the March 30th severe weather event. Three EF-2, two EF-1, and one EF-0 tornadoes were determined, the National Weather Service reports.

According to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, there are reports of three injuries, as well as those of homes damaged, trees down, and power outages due to straight-line winds and possible tornadoes from the severe weather on Wednesday.

Of the injuries have been reported to MEMA, two were in Noxubee County and one is in Holmes County.

Initial damage assessments are underway. The following is preliminary and will change through the assessment process. These counties are reporting some type of damage to homes ranging from affected to destroyed.

Take photos of the damage to the home
