The Lee County Sheriff’s Department, along with several local, state, and federal agencies showed a strong presence in Lee County during the past week. From March 14 – March 17, the US Marshals Service, ATF, MDOC, Lee County Sheriff’s Department, and Tupelo Police Department made several arrests as part of a saturated effort on crime in Lee County.
Serving arrest warrants, checkpoints, and compliance checks were conducted.
62 individuals were arrested during this period of time. Charges ranges from Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, DUI 1st, DUI 2nd, DUI 3rd, DUI 4th, Child Abuse, Cyber Stalking, Embezzlement under Contract, False ID, Felony Possession of Schedule II Meth, Felony Possession of Schedule I, Felony Fleeing, Grand Larceny, MDOC Warrant, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Schedule II, Probation Violation, Prescription Forgery/Fraud, Promoting Prostitution, Sexual Battery, Trafficking Ecstasy, Trafficking Meth, Trafficking of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Trafficking of Hydrocodone, and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.
