On Monday morning, police are searching for Cortez Robinson, Cordarious Johnson, and Ahkeem Lewis.
The three teens are accused of shooting a victim on Boyd Street as he sat in his vehicle. The victim was hit several times, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
According to WLBT, Johnson was arrested last year on a murder charge. It’s unclear why he is out.
Canton Police Chief Otha Brown said the search started Sunday, and it is ongoing Monday morning. Canton police and the Madison County Sheriff’s Department are working the case together, he said.
Passers by are reporting that there is a heavy police presence on 51 and Tisdale Road nearing Yandell as the manhunt continues.
