Sheriff Ryan Everett of the Lawence County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a woman shot her husband Wednesday in Lawrence County.
According to authorities, the 911 call was received at 9:54 AM. Sheriff Everett said there was no mention of a shooting during this call.
The call came in from a third party who was not present.
Deputies arrived at the home where the shooting happened off of Givens-Mullins Road at 10:09 a.m.
This case is being handled by MBI.
Sheriff Everett said that the current statuses and details of this case are not being released at this time due to the pending investigation.
