A Jackson woman is heartbroken after she says that her beloved dog named “Sassy” was stolen.

Cristy Grossie said that her friend’s truck was stolen from a gas station on High Street on June 27th.  Sassy was inside of the truck when it was stolen.

Grossie said the truck was recovered two weeks later, but Sassy was nowhere to be found.

Grossie said that Sassy was her Emotional Support dog and she has had her since she was a puppy. Sassy is a white American Staffordshire Terrier, 7 years old, 55 lbs, is completely deaf and sign language trained.
