A woman was killed Monday when police say she was run over by a vehicle.
On Monday, the Jackson Police Department were called to a scene in the 300 block of Queen Alexandria Lane. Detectives learned that the victim was run over by a vehicle at this location.
Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital. She has been identified as Taurniqwa Mcelvaine. Her next of kin as been notified. The vehicle used in this incident has been recovered.
