The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding a homicide in Yazoo City.

MBI said in a release Stacy Walker, 40, may have last been seen early Sunday around midnight in the area of Genesis Court in Yazoo City. She was found dead by a boat ramp in the area of Rialto Road around noon.

Coroner Ricky Shivers said the body looked as though she could have been dead 18-24 hours.
