A Jackson woman is behind bars, charged with murder in a January fatal shooting.
Charlotte Michelle Blackley, 37, was arrested on a charge of murder around 7 p.m. Saturday night on Exchange Drive near Dona Avenue in reference to a shooting that left a woman dead.
Jackson police say Charlotte Michelle Blackley, 37, was arrested on Exchange Drive in the incident, which happened January 11. The victim was Lucy Parkman, police said.
JPD said at the time that the victim, a woman, was targeted in the 200 block of Stokes Roberts Road. Johnny Caston, 65, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder in that same incident.
