The Wiggins Fire Department is offering 100 smoke detectors to residents in the community who need them!
The fire department posted on Facebook saying they have 100 ready to be installed and they are available on a “first come first served” basis.
The requirements are you must own the house you want it to be installed in and the house must be within the Stone County city limits.
If you would like to claim a smoke detector, call the fire department at 601-928-5446. The department will take your name, address, and the date and time you want the installation done.
If nobody answers your call, then the fire department is likely out on an emergency call so please leave them a voicemail and they will get back to you!
