Wednesday Weather: partly sunny, close to 80

Clouds will gradually be clearing, leading to more partly to mostly sunny skies in the east to partly cloudy in the northwest. Highs will be in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees to the south.

Expect some severe weather later this week. An Enhanced risk is now in place for a good portion of the area from late Friday afternoon into the overnight. With higher confidence in severe weather, the primary threats will be from tornadoes, some of which could be strong, along with damaging winds and large hail.
