On Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 around 5:00 PM, Webster County Sheriff’s Office K-9 “ Zeus “ succumbed to an unexpected illness.

Zeus was a friendly, energetic, and loving K-9. He was loved by all members of the department and loved working alongside his handler. He was an important member of our team and worked countless hours helping our deputies locate illegal narcotics.

Zeus has served the citizens of Webster County since 2017 and is credited with multiple drug arrests. Join us in mourning K-9 Zeus but also appreciating the good work he did for our community. Pictured below is Zeus with his handler Sgt. Brandon Chaille.
