According to Vicksburg News, a Warren County woman was arrested after she was found to be in possession of fentanyl and marijuana.

She was booked into the Warren County Jail.

Vicksburg News reports that just before 11 a.m. on Monday, deputies arrested 27-year-old Sydni Uzzle.

According to Sheriff Pace, Uzzle was arrested on a circuit court capias warrant for failure to show up to a grand jury. She had been charged with possession of fentanyl.

Uzzle was arrested by uniformed deputies and investigators led by Sgt. Ray Thompson, Sheriff’s Detective Jeff Merritt, and Sgt. Donnie Heggins with the Vicksburg Police Department. A capias warrant is usually issued to ensure someone appears in court after a failure to appear.

While being processed into the jail, Uzzle was searched and found to be in possession of contraband; two small packages, one containing fentanyl and the other marijuana.

As a result, Uzzle faces new charges of introducing a controlled substance into a correctional facility.  Her bond was set at $5,000.
