On June 10, the Tupelo Police Department served a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant for Grand Larceny on 30-year-old Xavier D. Robinson, of Baldwyn.
The warrant relates to an incident in January 2024, where a victim reported leaving a purse containing multiple items in a shopping cart at the Wal-Mart on 3929 North Gloster Street.
Video surveillance footage showed Robinson, an employee, stealing the purse shortly after it was left behind.
Robinson was ordered held on a $10,000 bond by the Lee County Circuit Court. The case is currently awaiting trial.
