Just before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, Southwest and South Jones volunteer fire departments responded to a tow vehicle collision on Highway 11 north of Moselle, between Armissie Road and Benson Cemetery Road.
When first responders arrived the firefighters found that two vehicles in the northbound lane had collided, with the maroon truck having been disabled in the road prior to the collision.
Both vehicles were damaged in the incident. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Jones County Sheriff’s Office and MHP responded, as did Emserv. The ambulance did not transport any patients as there were no injuries.
Anytime your vehicle is disabled on the road, please call 911, especially in the dark. First responders can make the area a bit safer for you and other drivers by illuminating the area.
