According to WLBT, the woman who was shot in the head by her daughter in Natchez has died.
The shooting happened Friday morning around 2 a.m.
Natchez police arrested 36-year-old Shalece Thomas for aggravated assault charges. They learned that Thomas also has a felony warrant in Texas for second-degree murder.
The daughter came home and began arguing with her mother. The argument escalated and Thomas ended up shooting one time at her mother, hitting her in the head.
WLBT reports that the mother was airlifted to the hospital where she later died. Her identity has not yet been released by authorities.
