Since this announcement, WLBT reports that there have been new details that reveal that 12-year-old Markell Noah into some kind of fight with his friend and was shot and killed.
Officers in court testified that the 12-year-old was actually killed by his friend in some sort of fight.
14-year-old Caden Naylor has been arrested and charged with murder and tampering with evidence. His bond has been set at one million dollars.
During the initial court appearance Monday, three people faced a judge in connection to the murder.
Police told WLBT that Caden Naylor and 17-year-old Eshawn Green dumped Markell Noah’s body at an abandoned home on Audubon Place in Jackson.
Green was charged with tampering with evidence and 21-year-old Kaylan Owens was charged with accessory.
WLBT reported that in a completely separate crime, both Eshawn Green and Kaylan Owens were charged with capital murder in the death of 44-year-old Terrell Jenkins that happened in October of 2022.
