Two inmates are on the run in Claiborne County.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, the inmates escaped around 2:20 a.m.
The inmates who escaped are 24-year-old Tyrekennel Collins, who was being held for Copiah County and 18-year-old Dezarrious Johnson, who was being held for Jefferson County but is from the Natchez area.
These suspects are considered to be dangerous. Authorities urge all citizens to take necessary precautions.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tyrekennel Collins or Dezarrious Johnson is asked to contact the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department immediately.
The Sheriff’s Department said,
“The safety of the public is our highest priority, and we appreciate the community’s cooperation in this matter.”
