At around 6:15 pm Thursday, volunteer fire departments from Glade, Powers, Ovett, and M & M responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Orange Drive and Township Road in the Glade community.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered two vehicles, a black Kia and a white Toyota, both four-door sedans, off the roadway. Each vehicle had one person inside. Firefighters provided emergency care as soon as they arrived.

One driver had minor injuries and declined transport to the emergency department. The other person had moderate injuries and was treated on-site before being transported to the hospital by Emserv Ambulance Service.

Both vehicles had minor damage.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) was also present at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
