Two charged with sale of a controlled substance in Oxford dispensary raids

Two cannabis dispensary owners were arrested in Oxford on Monday when warrants were served on their businesses.

According to Lafayette County jail records, Antonio “Tony” Barragan, 48, and James Flournoy Funk, 37, were both charged with sale of a controlled substance when they were booked into the jail Monday.

Flournoy was booked in at 1:40 p.m. and Barragan was booked in at 8:48 p.m.

Barragan is the owner of Hybrid CBD and Relief Relief, and James Funk is the owner of Slackers Supply.

The arrests were made after warrants were served by the Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Control Bureau, Oxford Police Department, and the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department.
