UPDATE: Woman Arrested For Allegedly Hiding Lowndes County Inmate After Escape

UPDATE: November 3, 2:50 p.m.
One more person has been charged in the escape of an inmate from the Lowndes County Jail.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, a third person has been charged in connection with Terry Leshaun Brooks’ escape.
38-year-old Georgeanna Harvill is being charged with accessory after the fact – Escape.
Harvill lives at 817 14th Street North in Columbus and was hiding Brooks at her house.
Harvill is now in custody at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center awaiting her initial appearance.
This is still an ongoing investigation and more charges are expected.

According to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department, two men were arrested in connection to an inmate who escaped on Halloween.

42-year-old Terry Brooks is charged with accessory after the fact of first-degree murder. He escaped from the Lowndes County jail on October 31.

Another inmate, Phillip House, tried to escape with Brooks.

He was captured before he could reach the outer perimeter of the jail.

A man named Steven Jennings was arrested by Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department. He was charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.

Jennings had six prior felony arrests and 19 prior misdemeanor arrests.

House is serving time for murdering a woman named Summer Tennyson in June.
