Two Arrested For Helping Inmate With Escape In Pike County

Two arrested for aiding inmate escape
On the morning of November 29, McComb police received the whereabouts of a wanted man.
19-year-old Xavier Ramos, of McComb, was arrested and charged with Accessory After the Fact of a Felony with Intent to Aid an Inmate with Escape or to Avoid Arrest.
He was arrested in the 900 block of Avenue E. in McComb.
Later that evening, a warrant was issued for 27-year-old Fransheka Mark, of McComb for Accessory After the Fact of a Felony with Intent to Aid an Inmate with Escape or to Avoid Arrest, and she was arrested.
Bond has been set at $40,000.00 for each individual.
Both are still in the Pike County Jail at this time. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department also said that they wanted to remind those individuals that attempt to aid and abet a fugitive from the law is a serious offense and they will be charged accordingly.
