On January 31, Tupelo Police were called to Rankin Street for a car burglary.
The victim reported that several items had been taken from their vehicle.
Another car burglary was reported in the area of 400 North Gloster at approximately the same time.
Witness statements and video evidence led Investigators to charge 21-year-old Toriecluster Sanders (New Albany) with 2 counts of Breaking And Entering of Vehicle.
On February 27, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Sanders bond at $30,000. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
