Tupelo Man Arrested For Accessory After The Fact To Capital Murder

On December 28, Tupelo Police arrested 28-year-old Meltorris Johnson (Shannon MS) at a Green Tee Road residence in reference to a felony warrant for Accessory After the Fact to Capital Murder.

Johnson was taken into custody without incident.

This arrest stems from an incident that happened April 8, 2022 on Hodges Drive. This was a Capital Murder case.

The murder suspect in this case, Nijel Hall, was taken into custody on November 7, 2022, and ordered to be held without bond.

On December 29, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen denied bond for Johnson.

This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
