Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast again today. Some of the storms could be severe. High temperatures will range from around 80 in North Mississippi to the lower 90s in South Mississippi.
A couple of rounds of severe storms will be possible from this morning through tonight. The first round would be potentially this morning, and then the next round would potentially be late this afternoon into tonight. Damaging winds and hail up to golf ball size will be the primary threats, but a tornado can’t be ruled out as well.
