Traffic Stop Leads To Methamphetamine Charge in Tupelo

On November 1, Tupelo Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Jeffrey Scott Moore of Tupelo.
During the traffic stop, officers discovered alleged marijuana and of alleged methamphetamine in Moore’s possession.
Moore was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine.
On November 3, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set Moore’s bond at $15,000 for the charges. A hold was placed on Moore by the Mississippi Department of Corrections due to his parolee status.
