Thursday: Continued heat dangers + scattered storms

Mary Apel

ALERT: Continued heat and humidity will combine for more dangerous heat stress through this weekend. Heat indices will likely exceed 110 degrees in the west. Heat stroke and exhaustion will be likely with prolonged outdoor activity. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if working outdoors.

We will also see rain and some storms today, with storm chances increasing in the afternoon and early PM. Temperatures will reach the 90s today and dip into the 70s with continued rain overnight.

There is a chance that some storms could be severe, please stay weather-aware!
