Three Arrested, One Wanted After Crystal Springs Man Shot In Head Leaving Game

Three men have been arrested and charged after a Crystal Springs man died after leaving a high school homecoming game. He went to the game to see his younger sister on the cheerleading team.

As they were leaving, his mother was driving he and his sister in the car when gunshots rang out. The back windshield shattered and a bullet struck Latravious. His mother drove him to the hospital where he was airlifted to Jackson.

The victim, 20-year-old Latravious “Duke” Williams, died from the gunshot wound around 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to Crystal Springs Chief of Police, 17-year-old Kenquavious Barnes, 20-year-old Dominic Davis, and 20-year-old Derrick Williams have all been arrested by Crystal Springs Police and charged with murder. Police say they are still searching for a fourth suspect.
