Arson suspect Devin McLaurin was arrested a short time ago, law enforcement officials said.

McLaurin, who is a Mississippi Valley State student, is suspected in seven arsons overnight, including two churches. He was arrested less than an hour ago in the Terry area after a several-hour manhunt.
Officials said it was a fairly uneventful arrest. He has been transported to JPD.
The locations that were burned were as follows:
- The Baseball Field at Jackson State University’s Campus
- Greater Bethlehem Temple Church- 1505 Robinson Street
- Epiphany Church- 1230 Isaiah Montgomery
