A man is behind bars, charged with a 2017 homicide in Vicksburg.
According to police, DeAnthony Smith, 25, has been extradited from Texas and is charged in the death of Antonio “Moon” Henderson.
Henderson was fatally shot in the parking lot of Eastview Apartments just after midnight on October 30, 2017. Henderson was found lying on the ground in front of Building 14, authorities said.
Witnesses at the time told police they heard an argument followed by gunshots, then they saw a dark-colored vehicle leave the area at a high rate of speed.
Smith has been charged with first-degree murder, and his bond has been set at $2 million.
